How to Unlock Zaralek Cavern
If you want to get to Zaralek Cavern you’ll first need to unlock the zone. This can be done on a level 70 character by going to the Dragon Isles and completing the Embers of Neltharion questline. You can do this by first picking up the The Land Beneath quest in Valdrakken at the Seat of the Aspects. Note that you’ll also need to complete the Forbidden Reach quests which you can start from Kurazidaia at the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken. If you’ve done this on another character already, she will give you an option to skip the campaign.
This unlock can be quite buggy especially with boosted characters and the quest may not appear sometimes. I would recommend going to Ebyssian in the Forbidden Reach and checking if he has the quest News From Beneath. If he does you can just go turn in the quest and you should then be able to unlock the rest of the questline, if not, try abandoning some of the quests you have in Valdrakken to see if the problem comes from phasing.
After getting The Land Beneath you’ll quickly get to the Zaralek Cavern, just follow the quest chain.
How to Get to Zaralek Cavern
Once you’ve unlocked the Zaralek Cavern, you can get there by flying in from the Thaldraszus entrance.
You can also find 2 other entrances, the first one in Azure Span and another one in Ohn’aran Plains.
Those entrances are pretty convenient if you are closer to them when you want to go to Zaralek, but they don’t have any other benefits besides that.
