How to get Exalted with the Violet Eye – Running Karazhan
One great way to get exalted with the Violet Eye is through Karazhan mobs. Simply head to the Karazhan raid in Deadwind Pass, enter the raid and then you have two possibilities:
- You can clear through the entire raid to earn about 10K rep. The upside is that you only have to do it once a week, but the downside is that it takes a lot of time to clear and it would take you many weeks.
- You can do this reset tactic to earn a LOT MORE rep, about 2K per run which means a LOT more reputation than the first method. This is also uncapped so you do not have to wait multiple weeks to get exalted with the Violet Eye.

BEFORE STARTING:
If you are NOT a druid, death knight or monk, create a custom group. When you want to reset the raid, leave the custom group and you’ll get teleported to the entrance after 60 seconds.
Head into the raid and kill ALL the mobs around Midnight (the horse at the middle). DO NOT kill any bosses or you won’t be able to reset the raid. You can simply go by the boss and keep killing adds.
Then head upstairs and kill all the mobs there. Once you’ve killed everything you can head to the top left on the map into the Banquet Hall.
Keep going through and killing all the adds. DO NOT KILL the boss, just go to the other side like shown on the picture.
Kill all the adds on this final level, make sure to go into all the rooms (see picture). Once you’ve killed all the adds here, go back to the entrance or use Dreamwalk if you are a druid (you also have similar abilities as death knight and monk). Otherwise you can use the method I mentionned at the beginning.

Can You Complete Quests For the Violet Eye? (SOLVED)
Unfortunately, all the quests for the Violet Eye reputation were removed from the game, so it is now impossible to experience the questline and get reputation from it. If you still want to experience these quests you would have to play Classic, but unfortunately since Legion these quests were removed from retail. This means that the solution on how to get exalted with the Violet Eye is by running Karazhan as shown above.
Violet Eye Reputation REWARDS
Want some incentive to get exalted with the Violet Eye? Here are all the rewards you can get from this reputation. Note that these can be obtained with Friendly through Exalted reputation, so if you are looking for one in particular you may not have to grind all the way to exalted!
From Mage Darius near the entrance of Karazhan:
- Pattern: Shadowprowler’s Chestguard – Revered
- Design: The Frozen Eye – Honored
- Pattern: Cloak of Darkness – Exalted
- Formula: Enchant Weapon – Greater Agility – Exalted
From Koren right after the first boss of Karazhan:
- Plans: Iceguard Leggings – Revered
- Plans: Iceguard Breastplate – Honored
- Plans: Iceguard Helm – Honored
