The Grand Gryphon is a mount from Pandaria, in order to get it you’ll have to complete the Pandaria War Campaign, here’s how you can get the Grand Gryphon.

Getting the Campaign Started – How to Get Grand Gryphon

You can start the Pandaria War Campaign by going to Lyalia in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. She’ll give you the quest Meet the Scout which will have you go to Krasarang Wilds.
If you can’t see the NPC, it means you are in the Bfa phase. You can go talk to Zidormi to fix this.

Make sure you have trivial quests tracking enabled!
All the quests from the campaign can be found under the “Pandaren Campaign” tab in your quest log.

Once you turn in Meet the Scout you’ll have to complete the quests A King Among Men and Lion’s Landing.
These are both easy quests to complete. You’ll then get the A Little Patience quest which will ask you to complete a scenario.

To start the scenario, go to this location in Vale of Eternal Blossoms. If you fly to the top you’ll then find Lorewalker Fu. If you talk to him you can select the option “Tell me of how Varian and Tyrande learned a Little Patience”.
This will start the scenario. In order to complete the scenario you’ll have to kill mobs to gather ressources and build defenses, then defeat the Horde and kill their commander. Once you’ve completed the scenario (you’ll get an achievement called “A little Patience“).
You can now right click your character frame and leave the instance group.

At this point you’ll need to start getting reputation to unlock the next quests. Here are all the dailies you can do:

Everyday, go talk to Marshal Troteman. Either him and the NPC next to him will have quests for you, or he will send you to another location to get your daily quests. You’ll usually get around 5 daily quests each day.

EXTRA daily: you can complete this quest once a day for some extra reputation, even if you’ve already completed the other dailies:

Farm up 30 Domination Point Commissions from horde mobs in the area.
Buy any of the 3 items from Huntsman Blake.
Right click the item in your bags and you’ll get an extra quest to complete for 200 rep!
Sometimes you’ll have to talk to Huntsman Blake after completing the quest to actually get the reputation.
Note that these quests do take a little bit more time than the others so if you still want to do them that is up to you!

Remember to use The Darkmoon Faire buff when it is up for 10% extra rep!

If you do everything without buffs, you’ll get 1100 rep each day, which means you’ll need around 3 to 4 days to unlock the first questchain!

IMPORTANT: As soon as you hit revered, go to Agent Malley (near Admiral Taylor) and buy the Grand Commendation of Operation: Shieldwall, this will DOUBLE your reputation gains from revered to exalted!

The Questing – How to get Grand Gryphon

Once you reach Friendly with Operation Shieldwall (you will actually need a little bit over friendly), you’ll be able to get the quest The Best Around from Admiral Taylor at the alliance camp. This quest will require you to go into a secret pub in the Deeprun Tram, which can be accessed by going through this entrance:

You’ll then get a couple more quests where you’ll be asked to find a retired SI:7 agent in the bar, and then back to grinding dailies!

The next round of quests can be acquired when you reach around 5000/6000 friendly. This should be pretty quick after unlocking the first round of quests. Admiral Taylor will have the quest He’s In Deep which asks you to go to Kun’Lai Summit. Go to the location and you’ll then have to complete two quests where you infiltrate a Horde camp. They are very easy quests, all you need to do is click a few items in the Horde camp and all the mobs are low level so you can fight them without any issues.

After reaching 2850 Honored, you’ll get The Kirin Tor (simply take the portal behind you after you take the quest), you’ll then talk to Jaina and Anduin and that’s it.

At 6800 Honored you’ll get the quest To Mogujia (from Admiral Taylor as usual), then you’ll have to complete 2 quests asking you to kill a few mobs.

At 10750 Honored you’ll get Anduin’s Plea and Heart Of The Alliance, two simple quests that will send you to the Shrine of Seven Stars in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

At 2700 Revered you’ll get The Kun-Lai Expedition, A Kor’kron In Our Midst and Memory Wine. In order to complete the second quest you’ll need to kill a bunch of Horde soldiers and then right click the quest items you’ll get from them.

At 6650 Revered you’ll get The Ruins of Korune and The Divine Bell where you will recover the Divine Bell, an old pandaren relic.

You’ll then get easy quests at 8600 Revered.
At 14540 Revered you’ll get another round of quest, at some point you will have 3 quests that happen all around Pandaria, for the one at the Tiger Temple, go into the main temple and AS SOON as you enter, turn right. There will be some stairs that lead you to the quest:

You’ll then get quests at 18500 revered and exalted. They are all very straightforward quests, just go to the locations shown on your map and wait for the RP! After completing the last quest, The Silence, you will get the Grand Gryphon! Make sure to talk to Agent Malley to also get the Grand Armored Gryphon.
