All restrictions for unlocking Allied Races in World of Warcraft have been changed. Any player wanting to unlock Allied Races will need to level one character to level 40 and then complete the allied race unlock scenario. The allied race unlock scenario starts at the faction city embassy in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
This change came to World of Warcraft in Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5.
Dark Iron Dwarf Unlock Scenario
Now that you have a character at level 40 go to Stormwind Embassy. Once at the Embassy accept the Dark Iron Dwarf Recruitment Quest. This will start the Dark Iron Dwarf Recruitment Scenario. The scenario explains how and why the Dark Iron Dwarf join the Alliance. As it is a scenario it will walk you through it step by step, just keep an eye on your current objective and blast your way through!
Once you complete the recruitment scenario you will get the achievement “Allied Races: Dark Iron Dwarf“. You will be able to log out of your character, head to character creation and Dark Iron Dwarf will be there waiting for you to create!
