With all the changes in the past there are quite a few AH’s available to both factions. Not all of the locations are known to everybody. Some of them even require Engineering.

Where are the AH’s and what has changed? We here at Battle Shout have done the research and we can’t imagine anything better than filling you in with all the details!

How does the Auction House work? (Explained)

Throughout your adventures in WoW you might come across a few items that you can’t use or just don’t need. These can be put up on the AH for sale for another player to buy. This can be used to make some serious gold. Especially with the Auction House merge.

Auction House merge? (Explained)

Yes, with patch 9.2.7 Blizzard merged the AH’s on all realms to share commodities (herbs, gems, consumables etc.) between low and high pop servers. The idea behind the change is to balance out the servers with items and sales.

Can you use Auction house during dance party? (Solved)

Every year on January 22nd and on New Years Eve both Major Auction Houses in Orgrimmar and Stormwind turn into a dance party. These AH’s can not be used to purchase or sell any items. It is recommended to use one of the other AH’s to purchase or sell your items.

Where is the Auction House in World of Warcraft (Solved)

Both factions Alliance and Horde have an AH in every major city. Some cities even have 2. There are also AH’s in other areas or even towns that you might not have known about. Here are the locations of all the of them with coordinations:

Alliance:

  • Stormwind: Trade District & Dwarven District.
  • Ironforge: The Commons.
  • Darnassus: The Temple of Gardens.
  • Exodar: Seat of the Naaru.
  • Stormshield: Stormshield Auction House.

Horde:

  • Orgrimmar: Valley of Strength, Valley of Honor, Valley of Wisdom, Valley of Spirits.
  • Thunder Bluff: Auctioneer Gullem, Auctioneer Stampi.
  • Undercity: Auctioneer Cain, Auctioneer Epitwee, Auctioneer Leeka, Auctioneer Naxremis.
  • Silvermoon: Royal Exchange Auction House, The Bazaar.
  • Warspear: Warspear Auction House.

Are there still neutral Auction Houses in WoW? (Solved)

As there used to be neutral AH’s where Alliance and Horde could trade their goods, Blizzard has come up with a change to all AH’s. All AH’s function the same and let us trade with the Horde or Alliance no matter where we are. The so-called neutral AH’s still exist and are in neutral locations accessible to both factions. We would like to show you where.

  • Winterspring: Everlook.
  • The Cape of Stranglethorn: Booty Bay.
  • Tanaris: Gadgetzan.
  • Shattrath: Aldor Bank, Scryers Bank.

Engineering Auction House (Explained)

Now that we have all AH’s covered for both Horde and Alliance there is a little info not everybody knows about. There are a few more Auction Houses only available to Engineers. This is where we recommend to set up an Engineering Bank Alt and place them at one of these locations:

Vale of Eternal Blossoms: Alliance Shrine of Seven Stars, Horde Shrine of Two Moons.

A little fun fact: The Alliance version is called H.A.R.V.E.Y. and the Horde version is called D.E.N.T. referring to the Batman movies.

  • Oribos: Photonic Gearhaggle.
  • Dalaran Crystalsong Forest: Brassbolt Mechawrench

Black Market AH (Solved)

The Black Market AH is used to obtain very difficult to receive items or even deleted items from the game for a price. This is where players can place bids on items listed on the BMAH. Whoever is prepared to bid the most wins the item. But where is the BMAH? The answer is: Revendreth.

  • Revendreth: Night Market.

Final thoughts
